School Camp Prices
The excellent feedback we receive from our schools tells us that our camps are outstanding value for money. The Outdoors People is a non-profit, so you can be assured that we are always working hard to keep our prices low.
Because we come to you, we are significantly cheaper than comparable residential trips and you also save on transport costs and staff time.

WE BRING
Our stunning canvas bell tents for the whole camp, including teachers.
Wood for the campfire.
All the activities and equipment.
Highly trained instructors at a ratio of 1:15.
Sleeping mats for the children (and airbeds for the teachers!)
Marshmallows.
Hot drinks for staff during the campfire.
You can ask us to run our Camp Food activity where the children prepare their own adventure rations. Most schools choose to be in charge of food for the camp.
You provide

Happy teachers that are ready to support their students (bug-eating optional!).
Most schools choose to be in charge of food for the camp, including for your teachers and for our staff team, or we can run our Camp Food activity.
Children bring their own sleeping bags. We can purchase sleeping bags for you at trade price, which you can keep or we will donate to charity.

Learning Away have some top tips on how to help fund Brilliant Residential's, allowing schools to do more and include everyone. In particular, asking parents to anonymously sponsor an extra place on your schools' camp is a model that works really well for our low cost but outstanding experiences.

Payment Schedules

30% deposit payments are due within 14 days of your booking being made.
Final payment of balance is due 60 days before your event.
Cancellations and reductions in booking size:
Please ask for a “hardship variation” on behalf of yourself or your students, if you feel that a larger credit or refund is needed.
A discount is normally available for students who do not take part in the full event.
If you reduce the size of your event by less than 20%, a full credit or refund would normally be offered for the difference.
If you reduce the size of your event by more than 20%, the difference will be treated as a cancellation.
If you cancel more than 180 days in advance, we will issue a full refund less a small administration fee.
If you cancel 31 days or more in advance, we will issue a full refund minus the 30% deposit.
If you cancel 30 days or less in advance, no refund is normally available.
